Journeys
Inner & Outer Experiences
With over 25 years of experience as a wilderness guide I create tailor-made experiences in nature and wild spaces. My expertise is far ranging - from deep personal journeys of self-discovery, collective journeys of learning across cultures to mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas. At the heart lies the desire to help you see who and what you are capable of being.
“Our culture made a virtue of living only as extroverts. We discouraged the inner journey, the quest for a centre. So we lost our centre and have to find it again.”

-Maryse Barak, Time to Think Faculty, Cape Town/ South Africa
“Wiebke has taught me to lead, fearlessly think for myself, and show up in my “enoughness.” I feel fortunate that I met Wiebke and found that she is incredibly kind, loving and gracious in how she shows up upon meeting her. From those conversations, I've since joined two of her Time to Think virtual courses ("Time to Think Foundation" course and her "Time to Think Thinking Partnership" course).
She is uniquely gifted in her work as a Time to Think teacher and consultant. I’ve worked with her now for many hours and I am always better for it. She is able to quickly create and model connection with a group of strangers in deep ways. Through each course, strangers quickly became my colleagues and friends through her masterful leadership and craft.
Upon completion of both courses, I enjoy more ease and presence in my day-to-day work and life. Plainly, I am a better human being, thinker, listener, coach, partner, friend and parent. Whether you are looking for someone to hold space for your own independent, deep thinking, to experience a masterful facilitator, both, or something else entirely, you will thoroughly enjoy working with Wiebke.”
- Sara Carbone, Executive Transformation Coach, Austin/Texas
“Wiebke is a beacon of light in the world of coaching and facilitation, her dedication to Time to Think is truly inspiring. In the Foundation and Partnership courses that I got to attend, Wiebke effortlessly blended ease with profound importance, creating an environment where I felt both challenged and deeply supported. Her teaching is a testament to her depth of knowledge and understanding, delivered with a touch of humour and an agility that kept me engaged and going to the edge of my thinking ...and beyond. And for this, I have so much gratitude for Wiebke's invaluable contribution to something that I am certain is so integral to personal and professional growth. I now cannot fathom moving forward without further integrating Time to Think in my life. Thank you for this!”
-Sophie Loerius, Systemic Coach & Business Psychologist, Berlin/Germany - Ottawa/Canada
“My experience with the Time to Think Transforming Meetings course, facilitated by Wiebke, has been mind-opening on two fronts: methodological, and human. The Time to Think approach developed by Nancy Kline was completely new to me, and Wiebke teaches it with impressive clarity, conciseness and warmth. I also noticed how Wiebke holds space for her students with grace, ease and radiance. Her unique vibe and colourful personal style – that combines patience with firmness – makes learning fun and seemingly effortless. I was amazed at how much I came away with, in terms of new insights and immediate applicability, both in the professional and personal spheres of my life.”
-Rachel Hentsch, Presencing Institute, Communication Lead, Rome/Italy
“The quality of our presence and our actions have a direct correlation to the quality of our thinking. Wiebke creates an environment in which we can access our very best thinking. As a Time to Think Coach, Wiebke helped me to unpack a complex situation and think it through to a clear course of action. Her listening skills are unmatched. Wiebke brought a powerful process to help challenge my assumptions and liberate me from limiting beliefs. Most importantly, she helped me to trust my own ability to think independently and find the answers inside of me.”
-Rachel Parikh, Master Coach, San Francisco/ USA
“The Thinking Partnership course was a wonderful experience and a great opportunity to THINK. The course was conducted online but Wiebke managed to create a wonderful environment that almost felt like we were in person. This course was a great refresher and reinforcement for our need as humans to create time and space to think and after doing the course I definitely feel ready to create this experience for others. I am grateful to Wiebke for her diligence and her thoughtfulness in bringing this course together and look forward to more time to think.”
-Gathoni Mwai, Maliasili, Nairobi/ Kenya

"I met Wiebke in October of 2020, through her ‘Transforming Meetings’ in a Time to Think Environment’ workshop. I was struck by several things about her, and the way she conducted the workshop. The clarity and structure she brought to the principles and process of 'Time to Think Environment', meant that I was never in any confusion about what to do, or how to apply. Every new step built on the previous one, and resulted in generative dialogue among the participants and within me as well. She introduced a new facet of dialogue, an area of great interest to me, and enriched what I practice in my own work. Wiebke also brought her immense generosity and compassion to the group that helped me bring more of myself to the sessions. I was personally touched by the Time to Think Council and helped through her willingness to share her time and gifts during this workshop.”

“I attended the 'Time to Think Transforming Meetings' course offered by Wiebke in October, November 2020. It introduced me to a new world of ’Time To Think’. The concept of listening to trigger thought was new to me. I was also fascinated with the simplicity in the methods that she introduced through practice. This course added value to me in my quest for finding answers to the question: ‘How to facilitate a dialogue in the world where we mostly see debates?’. What Wiebke brought from her being as a facilitator is patience, compassion and unconditional giving. That made a huge difference to the learning environment.”
- Raja Chidambaram, Enabler -Transformation, Bangalore, India.
“In 2020 I spent more than 400 hours training myself to improve my leadership and personal skills in different programs offered by top class organizations, experts and leaders. The Transforming Meetings in a Thinking Environment is in the top of my chart. Great content combined with the experience and sharp facilitating skills of Wiebke makes this program a no brainer if you want to really improve the performance of yourself and your teams”.
- Willy Azarcoya, Consultant and Founder of Posiiible, Mexico
“The Mentorship in a Thinking Environment Course was so liberating. I always thought that I have to search somewhere for answers I need about my own life. The sessions showed me that we carry a lot of wisdom and clarity within ourselves. All we need is someone who is willing to listen to us while we explore our thoughts and limitations. From this training I came out with a sense of direction of what needs to be done next to start working towards the plans I have.”
Eric Bafo, Facilitator at Educo Africa, Mentee, Cape Town/ South Africa
